Honorbuddy Review

Over the last couple of weeks's I have been testing what is considered by many to be the best WoW bot around 'Honorbuddy'.

For those who don't know what Honorbuddy it is a World of Warcraft PVP, Leveling and Questing Bot.
With Honorbuddy you can use random battlegrounds as well as choose individual ones such as Alterac Valley, Warsong Gulch, Strand of the Ancients, Isle of Conquest, Arathi Basin, Eye of the Storm. In IoC and SotA.
  • Leveling 1 - 80, mostly done by 1 click from 1-60, 60-70, 70-80
  • Skinning 1 - 450, Mining 1 - 300 , Herbalism 1 - 300 (both 450 with GB)
  • Open source combat classes - fine build in ones as well as user made ones
  • Fully unique Navigation System
  • Vendor and Mail on full Inventory
  • Open Source Plugin System (Plugins to train, use taxi, sell stuff on the auction house)
Here is a clip of me showing the bot in action PvPing and Grinding.

     Overall the bot is very good it can successfully grind and PvP. Though when it comes to the questing you will have to frequently babysit it to make sure that is does not get stuck. Luckily though there is a inbuilt blackspot detection and after a while of it constantly running into the same wall over and over again it will correct itself eventually.

    One of the great thing's about this bot though is that ALL of the profiles (what is used to grind, pvp, questing, mining/herbing) are made by members of the community. This mean's that say if you wanted to grind bats for example you just set up the path that you want the bot to take and away it goes. This is basically the same for pvping as well. There is some difference for questing though but once you get the hang of it is very simple. In general the bot is very easy to understand and to setup taking less than five minutes to do so.

    I might sound like I am singing all but praise but here is what will dampen your excitement.
    One of the main downsides of the bot though is what is called sessions. Sessions are how many copies of the bot you can run at once. While other bot's on the market for example give 3 sessions (meaning 3 wows running 3 bots) at once you are only able to use 1. Though there is the option of the lifetime honorbuddy/gatherbuddy deal which allow's 5 sessions at once though for a MUCH higher cost.

    Pros:
    • Supports Grinding, Questing, PvPing and Farming all with the same bot.
    • Has a great community which is active and able to help with most queries.
    • Very cheap compared to some others.
    • You can create your own profiles.
    • Easy to Setup
    Cons:
    • Only supports one session on yearly compared to other bot's 3 or more.
    • Due to so many user's of Honorbuddy could lead to paying special attention to try to 'detect' honorbuddy.
    • Uses click to move which may appear bottish.
    Thank you for reading and I hope this has been informative for you.

    How to remove WoW Frames

    While I was browsing the internet on how to remove my character frame for a video for you guy's. I found some VERY interesting information. If you are filming a video and you are wanting to put it on youtube and you do not want the people seeing what your name is this is very useful.

    To hide a frame, you have to enter the frame name into the chat window this is done by typing in '/script theframename:Hide()' likewise if you want to show it again you would want to type in '/script theframename:Show()'

    The Frame Names:

    Player Window
    The Player window in the upper left that is always shown for yourself is PlayerFrame.
    /script PlayerFrame:Hide()

    Party Window
    The windows that are shown for group members are PartyMemberFrameX, where X = 1..4. All these can be hidden at once by the function HidePartyFrame(), provided by the default party frame lua code.
    /script HidePartyFrame() -- hides all party members
    /script PartyMemberFrameX:Hide() -- hides a specified party member (X=1/2/3/4)

    Edit Minimap-Frames
    To hide the minimap completely, enter:
    /script MinimapCluster:Hide()

    Worldmap Button
    The little button at the topleft of the minimap that toggles the worldmap
    /script MiniMapWorldMapButton:Hide()

    Calendar Button
    /script GameTimeFrame:Hide()

    Zoom Buttons
    /script MinimapZoomIn:Hide() -- hides the zoom-in-button (+)
    /script MinimapZoomOut:Hide() -- hides the zoom-out-button (-)

    Main Action Bar
    Main bar which has a row of shortcuts (at the bottomleft)
    /script RemoveMainActionBar()

    Main Menu Bar
    Menu bar which has various WoW Options, Character Info, Social etc.
    /script MainMenuBar:Hide()

    Main Menu Bar Endcaps
    The gryphons that are at the sides of the bottom bar.
    /script MainMenuBarLeftEndCap:Hide() -- to hide the left one
    /script MainMenuBarRightEndCap:Hide() -- to hide the right one

    Shapeshift (Stance/Form/Stealth) Bar
    /script ShapeshiftBarFrame:Hide()

    Bottom left action bar (Above the Main Action Bar, left side)
    /script MultiBarBottomLeft:Hide()

    Bottom Right
    Bottom right action bar (Above the Main Action Bar, right side)
    /script MultiBarBottomRight:Hide()

    Left
    First action bar below minimap
    /script MultiBarLeft:Hide()

    Right
    Second action bar below minimap
    /script MultiBarRight:Hide()

    edit Other Frames
    UI Parent
    Hides the UI Parent same as if you press ALT+Z
    /script UIParent:Hide()

    Chat

    /script ChatFrame1:Hide()

    Welcome to my Blog

    I would just like to start with introducing you all to my WoW blog!

    After reading quite a few WoW blogs and seeing that unfortunately lot's of them have stopped blogging or shutdown completely I feel the need to close the gap that is left behind by my own.

    Let me tell you a little about myself, I go by the name of Mistatic and I have been playing World of Warcraft for around five years now with some breaks in between. During Vanilla (classic) I mostly played a warrior but never got past 52 (I will get back to the reason a bit later). During BC I then levelled a rogue to 70 which I now have at 80 today. I have been playing the Rogue for around four years and has turned into a 80 Rogue. I also have a 80 alt DK and a 80 alt Warrior though they are both undergeared (not even 3k ^_^) and I am not a big fan of them. Though I am now levelling a druid which is currently getting exp while I type this. You may be thinking "WTF OMG BBQ how is he getting xp while typing!??!?!." Well now is the time to tell you why I only got to level 52.

    Since I first started playing any game I have always wanted to know how to finish the game the fastest, with the most enjoyment and the safest. This leads to why I only got to level 52 on my warrior, during my levelling days trying to get past level 30 I saw a dwarf hunter grinding gorilla's. I was a bit confused as the gorilla's were level 35 I believe and he was level 40. I didn't take much notice of this at the time but when I logged in 2 days later the same dwarf hunter was in the same spot still going. I then had the commensense to whisper him and suprise suprise he didn't reply.

    I then was very interested I typed in some common keywords to try to get some results I started with automated, machine, robot and then thank you google when i typed in robot wow it automatically made the connection with bot. This is where my WoW 'cheating' some may call it began.

    This blog will focus on WoW cheating, gold selling/buying reviews, account selling and much more.
    This blog will also focus though on the more non-illicit parts of WoW such as guides, news, achivement guides and more.
